The Communications Manager is accountable for developing high-quality, mission-aligned communications across internal and external channels to support WelbeHealth’s strategic priorities and engagement goals. The Communication Manager drives collaborative work that promotes consistency and alignment in company communication strategies. This role guides content strategy and execution for participant communications, media relations, internal campaigns, and high-impact initiatives.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Lead content strategy and production for our recurring webinar series in partnership with internal subject matter experts, including scripting and post-event communications
  • Manage development and distribution of WelbeHealth’s monthly newsletter, while coordinating with internal departments to develop content for varied channels and audiences
  • Oversee WelbeHealth’s weekly blog and editorial calendar by sourcing stories and engaging contributors to highlight participant stories, thought leadership, and care innovations
  • Contribute to the creation and management of content for internal newsletters (e.g., Welbe Weekly), blogs, intranet pages, and internal updates
  • Support growth-oriented communications for WelbeHealth through press releases, media statements, event promotion, and brand campaigns
  • Collaborate with our Growth and Market Operations teams to support center openings, partnerships, and local engagement efforts
  • Craft culturally sensitive, health-literate, participant-facing communication materials across multiple formats including SMS, flyers, and digital platforms

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in communications, public affairs, or marketing
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience independently producing content and managing cross-functional projects for deliverables such as webinars and newsletters
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is highly preferred
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple formats (newsletters, blogs, press materials, speeches, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the demonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with SharePoint, Canva, Microsoft Suite Applications, and Smartsheet preferred

Salary/Wage base range for this role is $99,309 - $131,088 / year + Bonus + Equity. WelbeHealth offers competitive total rewards package that includes, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other qualifications.
