Position Summary
The Credentialing Associate will act as the primary point of contact for our healthcare professionals during the credentialing process. Associates will deliver a consistent, informed, customer-oriented credentialing experience so travelers start each assignment on time.
Responsibilities/What You Will Do
- Execute the end-to-end credentialing of travel nurses to meet Joint Commission, Nomad, state, and client requirements
- Work cross-functionally with Account Management to meet compliance file deadlines
- Escalate any traveler delays or credentialing failures to your credentialing manager and/or the Clinical Excellence team
- Maintain audit scores at or above expectations
- Consistently initiate files within SLAs, including conducting a credentialing initiation welcome call with each traveler
- Consistently reviewing credentials provided by travelers within 1 business day
- Coordinate background checks and drug screens for travelers
- Consistently problem solve to overcome hurdles faced during the credentialing process
- Help to create an environment of high morale, motivation, and teamwork
Qualifications/ Skills - What You Will Need
- 1+ years experience credentialing travel nurses at a healthcare staffing agency
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with clinicians, clients, and Nomad teams
- Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Must be flexible, coachable, and eager to take on new challenges

Compensation for this full-time position is between $25.34/hour to $33.89/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum amount employees can earn during their time in the role. Actual pay may be higher or lower depending on geographic locations, skills, experience, and other factors permitted by law.
