Energy Solutions is looking for an experienced Federal Contracts Compliance Manager to join our team to be our expert on Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and federal contracting processes. As a Federal Contracts Compliance Manager, you will support in the administration and processing of federal contracts, support the identification of and compliance with legal and contractual requirements pertaining to 2 CFR 200, and create internal policies and procedures pertaining to federal compliance. This role requires extensive existing knowledge of FARs. In performing this role, you will be expected to collaborate and build partnerships with multiple business units within our company.

To ensure success as a Federal Contracts Compliance Manager at Energy Solutions, you should be a critical thinker and have strong reading comprehension, communication, conflict resolution and organizational skills. You should have the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, challenging work setting. This role requires a motivated individual who works well independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. For this role, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications is expected, and SharePoint experience is recommended. Lastly, a willingness to learn more about Energy Solutions’ business and goals will support your ability to excel in this role.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Reviewing agreements to determine if federal contractor or subrecipient requirements apply to Energy Solutions.

· Supporting in the review and legal redlining of federal agreements and summarizing compliance concerns for internal stakeholders.

· Analyzing internal business practices and systems to ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations.

· Designing and coordinating the preparation and ongoing review of policies, procedures, training materials and other communication tools to assist business units in meeting federal compliance requirements.

· Coordinating the creation, review, and implementation of policies and procedures to comply with federal contracting requirements.

· Applying and interpreting federal audit and compliance requirements for Energy Solutions.

· Assisting with external and internal compliance audits as necessary.

· Interacting with external auditors on matters related to Energy Solutions’ internal federal compliance controls.

· Establishing self-audit and federal compliance monitoring programs.

· Filing and maintaining records including federal regulatory reports, contract documentation, and other documentation.

· Coordinating rollout and training of new or updated policies and directives when required as it pertains to Federal requirements.

· Other (non-federal) contracting and compliance support activities, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications: 

· Experience: at least five years total experience, with three years in a role addressing Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) contracting requirements and compliance. In-depth knowledge of FARs is required.

· Undergraduate degree in business management, legal studies, business administration, project management or a similar field of study. Additional certifications in the field of compliance and administration are a bonus. Candidates with a master’s degree in any related field are usually given more consideration for this position.

· Experience with contract/legal language is required.

· Excellent communication skills (spoken and written).

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

· Exceptional attention to detail.

· Ability to stay motivated in a remote work environment.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

· Ability to work in a growing, fast-paced work environment with multiple competing deadlines and priorities.

· Ability to interface with external parties such as auditors and clients.

· Willingness to conduct infrequent (5%) business travel. 

Compensation to commensurate with experience with the pay band of  $85k - $110k/Annually
