Software Quality Control Engineer I

Energy Solutions is currently seeking a passionate and driven Software Quality Control Engineer 1 for our Information Systems team. As a Software Quality Control Engineer 1 you will bring your testing experience to our team.  You will be working with our established teams performing manual testing of our energy efficiency projects.  

Energy Solutions has a remote-friendly work environment for staff located throughout the United States. We also have offices in Oakland and Orange California as well as Boston, New York and Chicago for those that wish to work from one of our offices.   

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

• Perform manual and automated testing across various web-based energy efficiency products 
• Collaborate with teams to identify, document and resolve defects, bugs and other issues 
• Analyze software requirements, user stories and technical documentation to identify testable components and conditions 
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices and company policies in quality assurance processes  

Minimum Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s in computer science, related technical field or equivalent technical experience  
• A minimum of 2 years' experience testing software products 
• Programming or automation experience a plus (Python, Selenium/WebDriver)
• Excellent communication skills 

Compensation to commensurate with experience with the pay band of  $65,000 to $80,000/Annually

Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a generous retirement package. Energy Solutions provides an excellent benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, other pre-tax contribution plans and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

Office Locations and a Remote Workforce
